In the role of Senior Cloud Data Architect, you will lead the strategic design, development, and implementation of sophisticated cloud solutions, with a strong emphasis on aligning these solutions with broader business objectives and enterprise data architecture. Your responsibilities will include directing the design and execution of complex cloud migrations, ensuring the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance. You will conduct in-depth research to innovate and enhance cloud data strategies, addressing intricate architectural challenges and guiding best practices. Additionally, you will mentor junior cloud architects, oversee major cloud infrastructure projects, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure that cloud initiatives support organizational goals and drive digital transformation.

Qualifications:Minimum EducationBachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). (Required)Minimum Work Experience

Requires deep functional knowledge with 6+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. (Required)Required Skills/Knowledge

Leads the deployment of the overall cloud data architecture. Areas of focus include organizational structure, identity and access management, networking, security and ingestion.Develops standards, frameworks, patterns, and processes to benefit existing stakeholders.Engages with key stakeholders, industry experts, and technical peers to understand technology and business requirements, industry trends and the boarder data architecture landscape.Develops and maintains the technical data architecture direction and roadmap for cloud data capabilities.Maintains a strong understanding of the current cloud data platform and proactively leads the analysis of the technology environment to detect deficiencies, gaps, and opportunities. Works with leadership to prioritize, initiate and implement technology efforts aimed at addressing these opportunities.Translates business and technical requirements into a data architectural blueprint to achieve business objectivesProvides and conveys guidance as it relates to cloud automation and (Continuous Integration/Continuous Improvement) CI/CD capabilitiesEnsures compliance of solutions to architectural standardsCollaborates with security architecture and information security to ensure integrity of solutions and meet enterprise standards and policies.Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.Organizational Accountabilities
