Position Overview
The Tier 1 IT Support Technician will set up workstations with computers, smart phones, and necessary peripheral devices; check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards, monitors, etc.) to ensure functionality, and install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications. A successful IT specialist must have thorough knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft Office 365, and a variety to internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail. The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business stability.
Duties:• Set up workstations and mobile computers with necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)• Set up "smart phones", inventory, and assign to staff to include but not limited to iPhone and Samsung devices.• Install and configure appropriate software functions according to specifications for individual end users.• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.) on in house end users.• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.• Identify computer or mobile device shortages. and request orders be placed.• Help Desk Support and documentation• Collaborate with team on projects
Qualifications:• Must able to work independently• Must be able to prioritize work• Must be able to handle stress• Prior Help Desk and Mobile Device Experience• Previous Connectwise Experience preferred.• Must have good people and communications skills.• Office 365 experience.• Intune MDM experience nice to have.
This is an on-site position.
Experience level:• 3 years
Schedule:• 8 hour shift• Day shift• Monday to Friday
Weekends and/or Nights as needed
