Purpose of the Position
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Director, Assistant Director, and programs of the Court, Children, and Family Services Division. Performs, coordinates, and monitors a variety of specialized paraprofessional tasks.Essential Functions
* Performs administrative duties in support of the Director and Assistant Director of Court,Children, and Family Services Division.* Prepares, drafts, finalizes, and processes legal documents, correspondence, reports,meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and memoranda related to division operations.* Gathers information, prepares documents, organizes meetings, records and transcribesminutes of meetings, performs data entry, and types correspondence to meet timeconstraints.* Makes independent decisions regarding the processing of assigned tasks and projects.* Receives work in the form of projects and coordinates to completion those projectassignments.* Sets up and maintains filing systems and does continuous maintenance to ensureefficiency and readily available information.* Receives, processes, and organizes purchase requests, expenditures, budget reports,and grant information.* Assists with the coordination, planning, scheduling, and organization of meetings,events, site visits, travel arrangements, and trainings.* Operates office equipment such as computers, facsimile machines, photocopiers, andcalculators.* Provides customer service to the public in person and telephonically.* Provides notification and assistance to staff when dealing with visitors and the public.* Assists in maintaining scheduling for conference rooms.* Coordinates work activities with other individuals and teams within the court and division.Minimum Qualifications
A High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D certificate and four years of progressively responsible administrative/clerical work experience. OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education approved by Human Resources.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference may be given to candidates who possess a paralegal certificate, a legal document preparer certification; Or, work experience in a court, legal, or professional office environment.Licenses, Certificates & Physical Conditions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:Typically performs duties in an office environment and may lift materials and/or equipment 20 lbs or less.
