POSITION SUMMARY
eGenesis is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to execute the day-to-day functions of our growing finance organization. This role will assist in aspects of the monthly financial close, the annual budget and quarterly re-forecast processes. As an effective collaborator in a highly visible role, the FP&A Manager will work efficiently and professionally to ensure that deliverables and deadlines are achieved. This is a full-time role based in Cambridge, MA with a hybrid schedule of two days per week onsite.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze the accuracy of financial results, determine variance drivers and write performance commentaryManage monthly CRO and outside services accruals; Preclinical and Clinical spendUnderstand the drivers of operating and capital expense variancesPartner with line of business budget owners to inform forecasting and support budget managementMonitor relevant trends and events impacting the business and incorporate this information into the forecastIdentify risks and opportunities to the planCollaborate with all members of the company to collect necessary information to produce accurate financial reportingProduce and distribute quarterly investor reporting; answer ad hoc requestsCreate, update, and manage all approved equity transactions and stockholders in Company's equity management system, CartaProactively identify and recommend improved processes for increased efficiency and better controlsOther duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting, plus public accounting experienceCPA preferred5+ years of corporate financial planning experienceExperience with NetSuite and Vena preferredExperience with management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecastingEnsure high standards of accuracy and consistency of data, attention to detail and efficiencyComfort with flexible and often competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic, biotechnology environment
