Position Description:
Company is an established company experiencing strong growth.
They design and manufacture electrical items used in resi, commercial, powergrid and signal wire.
The position of Regional Sales Manager - Power Grid will serve as an integral part of the Power Grid sales team.
Through the coordination of initiatives focused on executing strategies that drive long-term sales performance, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a network of manufacturing representatives, serving as the brand representative within a defined territory, and educating the Electric Utilities, Engineering firms, contractors, developers, and Engineer Procure & Construct (EPC) communities.
Due to the strategic value of the Power Grid Product Line, it is imperative that the position of Regional Sales Manager remain focused and closely aligned with the objectives and direction provided and ensure each project is effectively and efficiently completed in a manner that drives optimal results for the company.
Job duties:• Meet or exceed annual sales/EBITDA revenue goals• Develop strategy to identify and execute conversion opportunities for all accounts within defined territory• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive brand awareness and specification adoption for company products within the EPC market.• Continue prospecting and account development activities that result in account conversion, sales, and a favorable impact on EBITDA.• Develop the market by creating a strategic go-to-market strategy for identified territory with SWOT analysis by market to include plan, target accounts, and strategy for the region.
Required Skills:• High School Diploma required with B.B.A. preferred• 5+ years' related experience• Ability to create regional Marketing Plans• Experience Selling Wire or Electrical Components to the Power Grid Sector (electrical contractors, utilities, engineering firms, procure and construct firms) is a must.
