Desired Experience:
DAWIA Certification Requirement: DAWIA Practitioner in Program Management or equivalent industry certification. The incumbent should have effective project management skills in order to develop, plan, analyze, and execute projects across the full system life cycle. The incumbent should have experience and expertise utilizing project management tools in order to conduct schedule analysis, manage technical requirements and system engineering processes, manage and lead cost estimating and budgeting, understand earned value management, and lead risk and opportunity management processes. The position requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coordinate with various stakeholders, and manage external relationships effectively. Must be able to think and speak clearly, present ideas effectively, and negotiate with people at all levels of organizational hierarchy.Functional Description:
Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
