This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on a variety of state-of-the-art building automation systems. The successful candidate will provide service and customer support during site visits, manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, and diagnose errors or technical problems to determine proper solutions.Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair building automation, HVAC, and control systems in commercial and industrial settings. Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting and repairing system problems, and ensuring optimal system performance. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on building automation systems and controls. Utilize building automation software tools such as Tridium Niagara, Honeywell Spider Tool, Alerton, Metasys, and Ecostruxure. Integrate various systems and controls for seamless functionality and efficiency. Perform system checks to ensure proper and efficient operation of digital controls, DDC, EMS, CCT, etc. Collaborate with engineering team to develop and implement system improvements and enhancements. Maintain accurate documentation of all service and installation actions. Stay updated on the latest developments in building automation technology and apply this knowledge to the job.Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Building Automation Service Technician or in a similar role. Extensive knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), building management systems (BMS), HVAC systems, and controls. Proficiency in integrating various systems and controls. Familiarity with digital controls, DDC, EMS, CCT, etc. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed. Certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
