HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists, Vancleave, Mississippi, United States,
Coordinates all aspects of the Talent Acquisition cycle including: recruiting, preliminary screening, employment offers, new employee orientation, and on-boarding.
Collaborates with the human resources managers to identify staffing needs, and job specifications, responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills.Develops and maintains job descriptions and job postings.
Administers employee benefits. Addresses benefit inquiries and issues to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Coordinates enrollment for new employees, and assists with changes for employees with qualifying events.Coordinates company-wide Open Enrollment event. Evaluates and compares current benefits with those of other employers, and helps to maintain Bienville's competitive position in local labor market area.Conducts regular audits to ensure accurate billing, payment, and benefit eligibility.
Prepares various reports including EEO-1, VETS 100, and other required governmental reporting; prepares various HR metrics and talent/workforce analytics.
Assists with the development, implementation and administration of various HR policies, procedures, and programs; prepares and maintains the employee handbook.
Assists with the administration of total compensation and performance evaluation programs.
Serves as a member of the Employee Relations Committee. Assists in planning special events and recognition programs.
Maintains complete and accurate personnel and benefits files, and HRIS records.
Ensures HR-related compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Assists with payroll processing as needed.
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of HR services.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.3-5 years of HR Generalist or applicable experience required. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
