Summary The E&I Maintenance Planner determines how the jobs will be performed and who will perform which activities. The Planner is responsible for facilitating communication between production departments and maintenance departments. The Planner must keep equipment maintained with minimal disruption to operations and solve E&I problems within safety, environmental and budget constraints. Repairs made to equipment must be documented using all tracking methods available. Key Responsibilities + Strengthen and improve safety in the workplace through compliance with rules and regulations, safety, inspections, and training. Ensure environmental compliance through proper knowledge and enforcement of procedures and requirements. + Maintain good housekeeping standards and expectations. + Effectively encourage new and innovative ways of thinking. + Schedule E&I Maintenance work into production plan. Collaborate with area supervision to schedule manpower ad resources for the most effective and efficient production and maintenance outcomes. + Purchase all necessary parts, equipment, and services to perform the maintenance work. Maintain appropriate documentation. + Work with area supervision/leaders to plan and execute short outage/turnaround work. + Complete root cause failure analysis through investigation and leadership of the process. + Responsible for up-keep and accuracy of technical information on processes, plant and equipment. + Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair/preventative/predictive/design-out activities on the organization's plant and equipment. + Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance, planning and scheduling. + Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
