SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing transactions pertinent to getting material moved from facilities used on the production floor. This position is responsible for the oversight of transactions required so sales orders are prepared and ready for shipping daily. This position requires reconciliation of inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory assisting in cycle count transactions as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following is a list of minimum responsibilities related to the Warehouse Inventory Specialist position. Other duties may also be assigned.
Review, confirm, and process daily transfer orders for production, stock transport, and sample orders to maintain production efficiency at Allentown, Macungie and Conshohocken Facilities within a 4 hr delivery window from request.
Assist in shipping logistics that requires moving finished goods from inventory locations to staging areas to prepare for outbound shipments.
Maintain all paperwork required in the shipping process.
Prints and reconciles Smart Sheets daily ensuring all outbound dock appointments are coordinated with sales to prevent backlog due to shipping hours within the facilities.
Coordinate the movements of controlled and non-controlled drug shipments from Allentown, Conshohocken and Macungie to prevent production downtime.
Process cycle counts as generated by ERP system or otherwise assigned by supervision.
Assist in ERP system training of warehouse personnel as needed.
Determine the proper status of sales orders and customer orders for appropriate action needed prior to shipping.
Coordinate MRTF, Sample and other requests from outside departments within a 24-hr. period.
Communicate with supervision all issues that will need to be delegated to off shifts as needed to meet demands of shipping and production needs.
Manage and review drivers logs, and daily paperwork assigned to drivers.
Support Event Reports, Investigations and Deviation Reports.
Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED / REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from four - year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
