We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at a booming construction company. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally within the construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of construction supplies. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.

position based in Chattanooga. Key Responsibilities: Source and purchase construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed for ongoing projects. Coordinate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier communications. Monitor stock levels to prevent delays in construction timelines. Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. Assist with cost analysis and reporting to help optimize purchasing processes. Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement, preferably in the construction industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software (ERP experience is a plus). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
