As a
Forklift Operator
you will:
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring that items are handled safely and securely.Move raw materials and finished products to designated areasAssist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory management.Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Collaborate with the yard and production teams to support workflow and meet production and shipping deadlines.Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment daily to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.Perform basic preventive maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.Complete necessary documentation related to material handling and inventory controlThis is a
full-time, temp to hire
opportunity.
The ideal
Forklift Operator
candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience as a forklift driver in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain one).Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to forklift operation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills and attention to detail.Basic math skills for inventory management.Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Pay Rate:
$16.00 hour
1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm
