This is a great opportunity for candidates that have a Commercial Driver's license and have worked in the paving construction trades but prefer not to travel far. Majority of the work assignments are within a 10-mile radius.

What you will do:
The assignments for this position will be overseeing a crew with responsibility for planning and implementing projects for mainline paving, asphalt trench patching, pothole repair, shoulder maintenance, slurry seal, alley repair and snow/ice response.
The Project Leader I will need to plan and complete pre-project work such as work orders, traffic control, notifying affected business or residents, and ensuring proper documentation related to project completion. The Project Leader I may be required to operate equipment, rake, and shovel to help complete projects with the crew. The Project Leader I position is required to use judgment about materials, methods, and work quality. They are responsible for the timely and quality completion of projects. The Project Leader I ensures that projects are completed within the scope and conditions of the contract specifications.

What are the minimum qualifications?
