MedCare Pediatric Group is looking for a passionate
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join our growing team to provide, evaluate, and implement speech therapy services to pediatric clients.
*** PRN Saturdays opening available at our Stafford Clinic ***
Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school program of Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)Licensed to practice as an Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Texas by anticipated start dateExperience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily requiredJob Duties:
Performs in depth patient evaluation and develops treatment plans as indicated for patientsEvaluates patients' needs and administers therapy to preserve and improve abilities for speech and language development, feeding, swallowing, etc.Implements treatment plan, provides state of the art Speech Therapy services in accordance with the Plan of Treatment (POT) approved by the physicianAssists the client to optimize skills and abilities and help the client to an improved quality of lifeMonitors, evaluates and modifies treatment for clients with multiple needs in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.Collaborate with the MedCare team to ensure quality careOpen to supervise assistants is a plus but not necessarily requiredBenefits Include:
