JOB SUMMARY:
The Presales Security Architect provides education, guidance and thought leadership on emerging security technology solutions for enterprise clients. The Security Architect will be responsible for a broad set of knowledge across enterprise security solutions and should have a strong understanding of how technology enables businesses to develop strategies and meet objectives. Working together with regional sales teams, the Security Architect will seek to understand customer needs, develop solutions enabling client success and gain continued trust in the Trace3 partnership.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Partner with regional sales team to execute comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that support business needs and objectives in complex environments for our clientsParticipate in business requirement gathering sessions, understand the user requirements and assist in the reconciliation of technical and business requirements as they relate to securitySupport prospects through RFP/RFI lifecycles, including assisting with defining requirements and facilitating responses.Support prospects through POC lifecycles, including defining Test Plans and Success CriteriaOwn successful implementation of sold solutions by ensuring smooth transition of proposed solutions to the delivery teamCommunicate Trace3's value proposition to varying technical and non-technical clients: Executive ''C'' Level Management, VP, Director, and end-usersContribute to Trace3's presence and brand in the Security communityCreate unbiased product comparisons via various tools and analysis for client use casesWork independently as well as team-oriented sessions collaborativelyREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 12-15 years of working experience as a Security ArchitectBachelor's degree from an accredited university preferredPrior experience working for a consulting or technology companyCISSP or other relevant industry certifications preferredSolid working knowledge of Zero Trust security strategies that include network and identityUnderstanding of CASB and CNAPP tools and use cases for implementation and extending existing and new solutionsWorking experience with DSPM platformsExtensive experience in SASE and Zero Trust architectures inclusive of DLP solutionsUnderstanding and applicable knowledge of SAST and DAST technology and use casesKnowledge of SIEM and UBEA technology and replacement strategiesFirewall experience and knowledge that covers Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet and JuniperUnderstanding and working knowledge of Azure/AWS/GCP native security offerings compared to best in breed solutionsStrong endpoint security knowledge that includes OT/IoT technologiesCapability of performing vulnerability analysis on the completed infrastructure, including risk analyses and security assessmentsKnowledge and experience researching the latest security standards such as NIST-CSF, MITRE Attack Framework, CMMC, etc.Experience of identifying innovative new security solutions to create solid layered defense strategiesAn understanding of business environments and challenges of IT operations in the typical corporationStrong experience designing technology solutions for Fortune 500 companiesStrong ability to operate independently and manage multiple client opportunitiesHighly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environmentComfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environmentActual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
