Summary:
The HR Project Manager leads HR initiatives for practice integrations, acquisitions, and transitions at Penn Medicine Medical Group (PMMG). This role conducts due diligence, develops project timelines, manages communications and resources, and oversees HR activities throughout the integration process. The HR Project Manager serves as the main contact for HR-related questions and decisions, handling both on-site and virtual interactions such as town hall presentations and project meetings.In addition, the HR Project Manager supports workforce management strategies to meet PMMG's goals, partners with shared services for process design and implementation, and collaborates with leadership to develop programs that enhance employee engagement and retention. Responsibilities also include managing key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring data integrity, generating and analyzing reports, overseeing compliance efforts, maintaining the HR policy manual, assisting with manager onboarding, and managing job description processes.Responsibilities:
Lead HR Projects :Oversee HR efforts during practice integrations, acquisitions, and transitions at PMMG, including due diligence, project timelines, communications, and resource management. Act as the main contact for HR-related inquiries, and manage activities before, during, and after go-live, both on-site and virtually.Support Workforce Strategies :Provide program management for workforce initiatives to help PMMG meet its short- and long-term goals. Collaborate with Penn Medicine shared services on process design, implementation, and ongoing management to ensure client satisfaction.Develop Employee Programs :Partner with HR and entity leadership to create and implement programs that address future employee needs and enhance engagement and retention.Manage KPIs :Oversee key performance indicators related to critical metrics such as first-year turnover, clinical turnover, and diversity hiring and retention for physicians, APPs, and staff.Ensure Data Integrity :Regularly review and correct HR data points-including organizational units, job codes, credentials, requisitions, etc.-to maintain accuracy and alignment.Generate and Analyze Reports :Produce and analyze complex datasets for leadership, including turnover reports and timecard audits, and present data in clear, actionable formats.Oversee Compliance :Manage compliance efforts across PMMG by addressing non-compliance issues with managers and employees, and work with corporate compliance or escalate issues as necessary.Maintain HR Policies :Update and manage the HR policy manual in collaboration with corporate HR, track policy expirations, prepare policies for signature, and ensure they are posted on relevant platforms.Assist with Onboarding :Support the onboarding of new managers to HR policies and processes, working with the HR Business Partner.Manage Job Descriptions :Serve as a resource for job description management, including location, maintenance, and electronic entry, and initiate approval workflows as needed.Credentials:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred.SPHR/PHR and/or SHRM SCP/CP Certification Preferred.Education or Equivalent Experience:
Bachelor of Arts or Science Required.4+ years of experience in administration, project management, human resources, or related fields Required.
