Job Description:
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in a rehabilitation setting.- Conduct assessments and evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral/feeding/swallowing skills.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve goals.- Document patient care and maintain records in accordance with healthcare regulations.- Educate patients and families on speech therapy techniques for continued practice at home.- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and encourage patients.- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
