Position Summary:

Position is responsible for optimal administration of Active Directory, Exchange, and virtual environments. SAN systems, server backups, spam and web filter portals, file/data security, basic network configuration and troubleshooting. Also assists with company-wide server selection along with installation, configuration and updating of those systems.

Essential Functions:

Manage routine maintenance of servers, which includes hardware, software and firmware updates.Administer backup software and recovery processes.Oversees network printers/copiers/scanners/plotters and all print server managementAssist System Admin II with administration of Windows servers, including, configuration, installation, and operation of servers.Serve as escalation point for IT TechniciansAssist with administration, configuration and troubleshooting of virtual environment, including attached storage.Assist in troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, group policy, replications issuesAssist in overseeing and troubleshooting of the on-prem and cloud active directory architectureAssist with administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of Exchange, web filter and secure email gateway portal.Document systems and procedures as needed.Keep up to date knowledge with network market to be aware of new resources and potential problems.May be required to work during emergency conditions.Regular attendance is required.Job performance must conform to all CWS policies and procedures.Additional Duties

Minimum Requirements

Physical Requirements, Activities, and Working Conditions

Ability to independently.Repetitive motions - substantial movements of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.Ability to lift 50 pounds and push wheel cart weighing over 150 lbs. Objects greater than 50 lbs. requires a two person operation.Ability to maneuver in various complex positions under desks, etc. for equipment installations.Ability to ascend and descend stairs, and easily maneuver between buildings at the plants.Ability to operate personal computer including keyboard and mouse.Ability to visually read computer monitor.Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, written definitions and details.Ability to convey detailed information to co-workers and customers accurately and quickly.Good oral, listening and written communication skills.Ability to operate and maintain motor vehicles.Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and four (4) years' experience in system administration on a Microsoft enterprise network; OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and one (1) year experience in system administration on a Microsoft enterprise network; OR a combination of education and experience to equal 7 years.MCSA or MCSE certification of current operating system preferred.Strong knowledge of most recent Windows server operating systems.Strong experience in a Microsoft environment, including building and maintaining Windows servers. (virtual and physical servers)Proven responsibility in managing projects and a Windows enterprise system.Experience managing and configuring virtualized environments. VMware experiences a plus. Experience with and knowledge of SAN technology a plus.Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange platforms. Including DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and SMTP.Experience with enterprise level servers and SAN storage arrays preferred.Experience with Cisco network hardware (switches/routers/firewalls/wireless) configuration preferred.Experience with backup software a plusExperience with firewalls a plusAbility to establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and other divisions.Good oral, listening and written communication skills.Prior work record indicating dependability and conscientiousnessLicenses, Certifications, Registrations

Valid South Carolina Driver's License required.Training Needs:
