Job Summary
The
Data/Financial Analyst
plays a critical role in managing and analyzing commission data to ensure seamless processes for our contracted agents. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage and maintain databases accurately. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the Commissions and Finance Team to provide exceptional "White Glove Treatment" to our agents. A strong proficiency in Excel and experience with various insurance carrier portals are essential to succeed in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:Data Management and AnalysisMaintain and update databases to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
Perform audits on commission data from insurance carriers and generate commission statements.
Utilize Excel to analyze and process data for reporting and payment reconciliation.
Commission Processing and SupportManage monthly commission payment workflows, ensuring compliance with carrier rules and guidelines.
Work with agents and insurance carriers to resolve commission discrepancies or inquiries.
Prepare and deliver reports summarizing commission data and payment processes.
Agent and Team CollaborationCommunicate with agents via phone, email, and internet to provide support and address commission-related questions.
Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers, Sales Support, and other departments to streamline processes and improve agent satisfaction.
Assist with departmental projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
Compliance and Record KeepingAdhere to all compliance, code of conduct, and fraud prevention policies.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions and communications.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Technical ProficiencyStrong working knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis.
Familiarity with databases, Microsoft Word, internet research, and Smart Office software.
Organizational and Analytical SkillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in data management and reporting.
Communication and Customer ServiceExceptional written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to provide professional, high-quality support to agents and internal teams.
