Regional Sales Manager in Building Materials - Southeast Territory
Our client is a growing building supply company with an excellent new opportunity to manage the Southeastern territory. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the building materials' industry. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in the South East region (KY, TN, AR, MS, AL, GA), driving revenue growth and establishing strong relationships with both new and existing clients (~$1M in book of business).
Compensation & Benefits Plan:$75k salary paid bimonthly$135k-150k+ total compensation estimateInherit a $1M book of businessHealth, Dental, Vision insurance covered 100% after 30 days401k with company match after 90 days$700/mth car & cell allowanceLaptopClient & travel expenses covered
Responsibilities:Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and grow market share within the regionBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders in the building materials industryIdentify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new marketsLead the sales team within the region, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure successMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the competition and capitalize on sales opportunitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to achieve overall business objectivesPrepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to executive team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (MBA is a plus)Proven track record of at least 5 years of successful sales experience in the building materials industryStrong knowledge of building materials products and applications with door components being a plusExcellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales teamDemonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and establish long-term customer relationshipsExceptional communication and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilitiesWillingness to travel within the designated region as needed
