Major Responsibilities:
Collaborating to build reference architectureDocumenting reference architecture: conceptual, logical and physicalCommunication and mentoring of architectural landscape in-team and cross-teamAssisting engineering teams in all aspects with executing against architectureRequirements:
10+ years working as a professional data architectStrong data modelling and building data contracts between producers/consumersExperience with designing modern data pipelines (especially in the cloud space) w/ data governancePrincipals and pragmatics of a medallion architectureLambda architecture - streaming/batchDiscipline for architecture/design documentation (conceptual, logical, physical)Micro services approach/designWorking with data governance tooling within pipeline. I.e. Data Quality, Lineage, Cataloging, Data profiling and ObservabilityDesigning for analytical layers for various use cases and business disciplines inclusive of AI enablement.Financial background. Prefer knowledge in Derivatives, Cash, Finance and Banking products.Platform-wise, familiarity with: Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, MDM tooling, and governance related tooling.Data Observability / SREStrong communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective presentation skills

The expected base salary ranges from $190k-$250k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
