Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Summary:
Serve as the liaison between the business functions and technical team. This position will create documentation, business requirement specifications, users stories, and data models. Serves as the primary technical point of contact for end users on administration, development and support of in-house proprietary system and related applications. The Sr. BSA will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and formulate strategies to ensure successful delivery and support of technical applications and solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes and write system process specifications to be usedWork closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which it operatesWork with business leaders to determine their business needs to transform them into information technology system requirementsEnsure both the technical design and implemented solutions meet the needs of the business and align with long-term strategiesDetermine solutions to business software/hardware system problemsLead business process designs and implementation of process improvements and enhancementsTransform business needs into information technology system requirementsIntegrate new applications solutions into the current environment; define input/output definitions; ensure integrity of the system integrationContribute to business process re-engineering and change managementMentor junior team members. Serves as a lead resource of institutional and legacy knowledge on best practices and protocols.Performs other duties as requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in supporting Network Management analytical requests.Experience in presenting analysis to internal and external stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal, and analytical skills requiredStrong project management experience and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Intermediate to advanced skills of data visualization software including Power BI.Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience, including Data Warehouse and BI products2+ years of technical business analyst across multiple projects such as gathering detailed requirements, supporting the software development life cycle, and design feature-based systemsBig Data project experience - SQL Server, ETL, .NET, AWS, Snowflake, etc.Agile - Azure DevOps, VisioHealthcare analytics experience in Medicare risk adjustment preferredExcellent verbal and written communications, interpersonalProcess-oriented with strong project management skills with flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic organization
