Warehouse OperatorYOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs all duties in strict adherence with company safety and environmental policyReads delivery tickets or purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedPerforms analysis of incoming bulk materials according to procedures and notifies supervisor with any variance from specifications.Operates a lift truck and maintains daily checklistUnloads cargo tanks of chemicals, lubricants, or fuels into correct bulk storage tank(s)Maintains storage tanks and shipping containersLoads Cargo tanks with bulk chemicals, lubricants, or fuels from storageLoads drums, tote tanks and other containers onto trucksRepackages bulk products into drums, pails and/or totes according to repackaging agreementsConveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areasSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product codeMarks materials and containers with identifying information according to company and regulatory requirementsRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributedControls and maintains inventory recordsMaintains appropriate level of housekeeping according to company standardsReports accidents and/or incidents to supervisorParticipates in ongoing safety program including safety meetings and trainingsYOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:Proven work experience as a truck driverHands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)Ability to drive long hours and travel regularlyExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsNo recent moving or driving violationsAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)Valid CDL driving license
