This position will be based in our main office in San Diego with a remote work option. field offices and project sites will be visited as needed. Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in logistical and delivery and work force planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software.Review and provide comment on contractor prepared baseline, update and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 Software.Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager.Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Principles and experience to develop Work Breakdown Structures and work with project staff to facilitate development of the project scheduleUse EVMS to evaluate the performance of the project by analyzing significant schedule, budget and/or resource variances from the baseline planForecast impacts of variances to aid in the management of the scheduleUse the cost loaded schedule as the basis of billingsUtilize Primavera P6 scheduling software to update and document schedule performanceMonitor and status schedule progressQUALIFICATIONS:BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.3-8 years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Understanding of construction scheduling processes preferred.Familiarity with and knowledge of Primavera P6 preferred.PSP Certification requiredCertifications with PMI or AACEI is also preferable.Strong oral and written communication skills required.Proficiency with MS Office programs required.Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.Additional Information
