Description:
The Marketing Database Specialist will enter and maintain contact, engagement and opportunity records in InterAction, the firm CRM system. This position reports to the Marketing Database Manager.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Perform data entry for the firm's CRM database for contacts, companies, engagements and opportunities.Work with Marketing and IT to develop and enhance data acquisition tools and data feeds to capture engagements, contacts and other CRM information through multiple means.Work with attorneys, paralegals and staff to acquire legacy data as well as ongoing contacts, engagements and opportunities.Update data records, generate reports, monitor data changes on a daily basis (DCM tickets).Conduct regular audits of the database to ensure the integrity of the data and coordinate firm and practice group mailings and event invitations.Research all returned email and mail and update contact information as appropriate.Merging duplicate contacts and ensuring that people are associated with companies.Standardizing company names and address data.Completing required fields for engagement records.Completing opportunity records, including meetings, referrals, etc.Resolving and promoting contacts, ensuring that necessary data fields are populated.Running data integrity searches and producing reports.Researching and processing data change requests and following up with users (attorneys, marketing, staff, etc.) as necessary.Assisting with other marketing projects as needed.Qualifications:
2+ year's professional experience.1-3+ years of prior CRM experience preferred (InterAction 6.0 or higher).Excellent organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.Excellent written, verbal skills.Outstanding interpersonal skills.Candidates must also be very proficient in Microsoft Office 2016 or higher (Excel, Access and Word).Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
This position may be filled in the District of Columbia and New York. In accordance with the District of Columbia Wage Transparency Law, New York State Pay Transparency Law and New York City Human Rights Law, the pay range for this position in the District of Columbia is $26.60 - $40.00/hr, in New York State is $23.20 - $34.80/hr, and in New York City is $27.80 - $41.80/hr. These ranges are specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
