Overview
The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal function of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.
Acts as collaborative member of the clinic in providing continuity and quality patient care. The Nurse Practitioner will work interdependently with physician(s) and other members of the health care team to provide preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, maintenance and rehabilitative health care; independently participate in the delivery of optimal patient care within the scope of individual authority granted by the Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners.
Responsibilities
All aspects of patient care performed are within the scope of care of the CRNP and not limited by Alabama Law or Hospital Policy.
Qualifications
Accredited by Nurse Practitioner Program.
Current License in Alabama.
Previous experience in physician office setting is preferred but not required.
CPR and first-aid certified.
Must possess excellent verbal and written skills and be able to adapt to emergency situations quickly.
