What you will do in this role:
Administers, plans and evaluates the activities of the department(s) to ensure quality patient care.Develops goals, policies and procedures, prepares and submits operating and capital budgets, participates in multidisciplinary QI teams, consults with staff, physicians and other departments as needed.Manages staffing patterns with the assistance of Assistant Nurse Managers and the House Supervisors on a shift-to-shift basis. Follows policies and procedures. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to facility standards of behaviorWhat qualifications you will need:
Florida RN licensure requiredAssociates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferredA minimum of one (1) year management experience is preferredAdvanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateNonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start datePALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateMUST HAVE ASNMUST have at least 3-5 years of charge RN exp in the ER
