The 3200 SF, general practice hospital will be located in the newly constructed Freedom Point Development, easily accessible from Highway 65.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

Partner & Lead Veterinarian Requirements:Compensation of $150,000 to $750,000Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited universityLicensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is applying4+ years of experience as a veterinarian requiredLeadership/management experience is a plusHave the ability to lead the team through a variety of casesRespect for and willingness to work with clients and their petsCompassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clientsComfortable providing (and teaching associate veterinarians) general surgery and dentistry proceduresPartner & Lead Veterinarian Responsibilities

Build a strong client-first and collaborative practice cultureHire hospital staff to include; hospital manager, veterinary technician, and other hospital support staff in partnership with SVP talent acquisition and operational support teamsDeliver excellent patient care and ongoing evaluation and management of clinical practicesEnsure doctors effectively communicate physical examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment plan, and educate clients on preventative careMaintain client/patient medical/surgical records and keep necessary logs up-to-dateMonitor associate doctor performance and stay up-to-date with changes in veterinary medicine through continuing educationAssist in developing the paraprofessional team to deliver quality care and exceptional client serviceEnsure all staff treat clients and patients with care and respect.Partner with the Hospital Manager in managing hospital financial performancePositively represent the hospital in the professional and local community
