Supply Chain Planner I Supply immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
As part of North America Supply Planning organization, responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of the S&OP Supply Plan for a complex and/or high volume portfolio, including the balancing and management of inventory, customer service requirements, and total cost to meet finished goods demand with optimized total delivered costs [TDC]. Managing inventory for new product launches, managing of disposition of slow moving and obsolete finished goods, and developing and driving continuous & process improvement initiatives across Supply Chain that creates capacity, reduces inventory and/or improves service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:• Development, planning and implementation of the supply plan to meet finished good demand at optimized TDC. Tracks case fill and root cause analysis and helps to define corrective actions.• Develop production (rough cut) & inventory plans to meet finished goods demand via internal & co-pack operations network (capacity review)• Evaluate slow moving materials and excess inventories and recommend and implement corrective action plans. Including Safety Stock analysis based on ABC segmentation.• Daily management and problem-solving of supply and inventory plan variances, including unexpected demand, to ensure appropriate communication and actions with customer service, sales planning, marketing, operations, and the customers as appropriate• Serves as the Supply Chain lead on cross-functional customer/business teams charged with business development, operational excellence, and capacity development; recommends, leads and operationalizes process improvements and cost reduction opportunities• Proactively participate and engage in driving supply planning execution of new business opportunities, including new products and product discontinuations, and identify process efficiencies and improvements to optimize these opportunities• Participates and supports the S&OP/IBP process (Supply Review/Escalation-Elevation of issues as needed).• Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field required5-7 years experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Operation, Finance, Customer Service or a related fieldDemonstrated ability to analyze, trouble-shoot, problem solve and resolve complex issuesAbility to manage larger projects and/or process improvement initiatives with cross functional teams using advanced influencing & leadership skillsStrong communication, organization, and coaching skillsProficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP (ex: SAP), ECC, APOPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MBAAPICS, CPIMMS Access Demonstrated proficiency with PPDS Optimizer

Base Salary: $72,930 - $127,640
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
