Transportation Specialist

Location: Homewood, IL

Position Summary

The Transportation Specialist provides transportation to the families and youth being served by the National Youth Advocate Program for appointments, recreational activities, court appearances, service-learning projects, and pick-up from school.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm

Responsibilities

The Transportation Specialist will perform duties including, but not limited to:

Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program's mission, values, and philosophies.Transport youth and families.Document all activities in a timely manner including logging mileage and hours.Assist in scheduling and arranging appointments.Minimum Qualifications

18 years of age or older.Valid driver's license with a safe driving recordWorking, reliable telephoneProficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.Driving and Vehicle Requirements

Valid driver's licenseReliable personal transportationGood driving recordMinimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,00/$300,000 bodily injury liability
