Staff Application Engineer
Job Description
The Staff Application Engineer will work in the Power MOSFET Product Line at Renesas, they will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and integration of Renesas products, and focus MV, LV Silicon MOSFETs, Switching power supply topologies for data-center / cloud / enterprise environments, especially 48V HSC, IBC(Intermediate Bus Converter) , PDB(Power Distribution Board) and Power supply application . You will work closely with our WW customers to understand their technical requirements, provide expert guidance, and ensure successful implementation of our solutions. Your expertise will help data center customers optimize their operations, improve efficiency, and achieve their business goals.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with data center customers, acting as their primary technical contact.
Technical Support
& Product definition:
Understand for Read state-of-the-art literatures of AI-48V power electronics topology or many other switching topologies such as LLC, Buck, Boost, HSC, Provide in-depth technical support and troubleshooting for Renesas products, including MV, LV, GaN Silicon MOSFETs, ensuring seamless integration and operation within data center environments. And also look for ability for product definition for Switches such MOSFETs or GaN
Training and Education:
Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance their understanding and utilization of Renesas products, with a focus on MV/LV & GaN Silicon MOSFETs.
Solution Development
& Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including application notes, user guides, and best practices. Collaborate with customers to design and implement customized solutions that leverage Renesas technologies, particularly Silicon MOSFETs, to meet their specific needs.
Market Analysis:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 8+ years of experience. Or Master's Degree and 6+ years of experience.
Experience:
experience in a similar role, preferably within the data center / power supply / MOSFET or Switching IC industry
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, power management, SoC products, and MV/ LV Silicon MOSFETs. Experience with data center infrastructure and operations is highly desirable.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience. Language need : English and Chinese etc.
Team Player:
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently.
