JOB SUMMARY:
Newmark is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager responsible for coordinating the development of infrastructure projects within an organization. Your duties involve:• Directing infrastructure projects.• Defining tasks and timelines.• Coordinating across departments.• Managing budgets.• Ensuring timely delivery and driving and implementing process improvement solutions for this Infrastructure project management.
Infrastructure areas include Azure Cloud, M365, Network, Server, Configuration Management, Messaging, and Telecom teams. Additional responsibilities include working closely with management and technical staff on operational items and issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:• Identify infrastructure goals and project delivery.• Define all activities necessary to acquire project goals and objectives.• Identify needed members for the project team.• Record, document, and plan concisely.• Identify prime risks and limitations within a project plan.• Evaluate and determine plan variance from project performance.• Oversee precise project results to identify if relevant quality standards are attained.• Collect and present performance information related to infrastructure projects.• Identify prospective conformance and rigid concerns associated with project initiatives.• Perform with subject matter experts throughout an organization to gather the fundamental business requirements to attain project goals.• Conduct change throughout the project, including schedule, scope, and team membership.• Collaborate effectively with infrastructure associates across entire business units and management levels.• Manage the execution plan for the transition of all IT services• Identify the prime cause of contention or disagreement and recommend necessary corrections.• Ensure capture, prioritize and solve project problems in an organized manner.• Optimizing and improving processes.• Collaborate with the engineering and operational team to define which runbooks should be prioritized based on how often they are run.• Build a personal relationship with key staff from infrastructure and applications as well as management• Proactively manage issues and mitigate risks to enable projects to stay on time, within budget, and with the expected scope
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving projects• Bachelor's degree in computer related field preferred but not required.• 7-10 years of Infrastructure Project Management• Ability to understand and design a large enterprise-level solution upon technical, application and business requirements• Knowledge to develop and execute complex deployment scenarios• Track record of introducing/improving processes within their area• Previous participation in M&A integration activities and project planning• Project management skills• Experience with disaster recovery and planning concepts.• Excellent verbal and writing skills• Strong analytical skills• Work as a team member
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 annually
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
