Job Summary

Manages and oversees large-scale and high-impact enterprise projects. Ensures project delivery is successful and aligned with business objectives by utilizing advanced project management methodologies and strategies. Navigates complex business and technology landscapes with efficiency and precision. Develops comprehensive project plans and strategies to achieve business goals

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manages the scope of multiple large, complex, cross functional projects.Partners with internal and external technology and business partners to align technology scope and business outcome. Ensures a change control process is followed for scope changes.Effectively handles intricate multi-vendor relationships, mitigating potential conflicts with numerous concurrent projects in the portfolio. Manages multiple interdependencies.Leads project teams of internal and external matrixed resources of 30+.Creates and maintains integrated project schedule. Understands schedule risks and drives contingency planning with the leadership team.Anticipates issues and risks implementing preventative measures to avoid them. Leads project teams to identify issues and risks by actively managing open risks and issues to resolution. Seeks assistance when appropriate.Develops and manages project budgets, capital, expense, SaaS expense $5-10+M. Manages project financials according to Company processes.Manages projects with a high level of technical sophistication and complexity that involves new technologies, intricate systems, and complex technical solutions.Leads project team meetings, prepares and communicates steering, governance, and stakeholder materials, and facilitates team member communications and alignment.Frequently collects project data to confirm project status both internally and externally. Communicates project status with the appropriate sense of urgency.Ensures IT projects align with the overall strategic goals of the organization. Translates high-level strategy into actionable project initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Accountable for oversight of the entire project portfolio including managing interdependencies, resource allocation, and performance.Provides regular updates and reports to senior leadership and may be involved in high-level decision-making regarding the portfolio.Partners across business and IT to ensure compliance with industry regulations is built into the scope of the project.Demonstrates advanced proficiency in project leadership. Applies delivery framework and SDLC to projects.Understands the complexity and interdependencies of projects within the greater portfolio.Uses professional project management concepts, Company policies and procedures, and personal leadership to drive business outcomes.Directs the activities of a geographically dispersed project team.Develops and writes project processes and procedures that align with the organization's culture and needsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

Advanced knowledge of agile and waterfall SDLC.Intermediate knowledge of IT systems, emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices within the IT domain.Intermediate knowledge of regulatory compliance, governance standards, and industry-specific regulations related to IT projects.Intermediate knowledge of project management scheduling tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc. preferred.Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.Ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate complex risks associated with high-impact projects.Ability to work within a team environment, coordinate efforts, and contribute to project goals.Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.Ability to organize project tasks, resources, and schedules.Ability to analyze information, assess situations, and make informed decisions.Ability to be meticulous in project planning, execution, and documentation.Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays.Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related field and seven or more years of information technology or business work experience required.Seven or more years of increasingly complex project management experience preferred.Master's Degree in related field preferred.Project management industry best practice certifications (e.g., Scaled Agile Scrum Master, PMI PMP, ACP) preferred.Physical Demands
