Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Microsoft Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multidisciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and operations of those assets. We are looking to fill a critical role of Procurement Specialist.

This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.
Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to (50)%.

Responsibilities
The role is responsible for partnering with the broader Global Supply Chain teams including Planning & Analytics, Procurement, Contract Management, Construction Execution, Supplier Quality and overall AI Projects team to meet the on-time delivery for a large, complex capital project. This role will drive towards the support of order, acceptance, installation, and commissioning of the OFCI (Owner Furnished Contractor Installed) Equipment at the Construction site in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.
Order Management: * *
Support RFQ development and management of OFCI equipment
Monitor and map CDEs (Comply, Deviation, Exception) are received and tracked and route for execution
Coordinate with OFCI Procurement for all commercial accepts (Pricing, ROJ, payment milestone, etc. ) and Develop and issue PORs for all OFCI equipment
Assist with monitoring overall project costs
Post Order Management: * *
Attend and coordinate OFCI meetings with stakeholders and suppliers
Assist Procurement lead with Change Order management
Develop and issue Change Orders to suppliers
Monitor and mitigate the impact of change orders to the project, and partners cross-functionally to resolve/escalate accordingly.
Attend management meetings to ensure any change orders for additional equipment are executed promptly.
Negotiate claims with detailed understanding of the contractual conditions of the General contract and the OFCI Contract, and partner with Regional claims to settle or escalate.
OFCI Management & Quality Assurance: * *
Help facilitate the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)/OFCI equipment once delivered to site, including inspections and appropriate sign-offs.
Align and maintain design changes post IFC (Issued for Construction) if needed to support design changes and costs associated with procurement and engineering teams to ensure alignment with stakeholders to drive resolution.
Deliver and coordinate project design information, specifications, compliance documents and technical submittals (master & project level design alignment)
Collaborate with the stakeholders wherever storage solutions are required.
Supplier Engagement & Performance:
Manage post award site delivery scheduling, on-time delivery performance, and reporting.
Communicate scheduling delays from OFCI/LLE (Long-Lead Equipment) equipment to relevant stakeholders.
Oversee site specific LLE performance and collaborate with both internal and external partners to proactively resolve issues.
Assist Procurement lead as liaison between Supplier, Engineer On Record(EOR), Architectural Engineer (AE), engineering and supply chain teams to execute complex post award design alignment between suppliers and Microsoft.
Manage the stakeholder reporting on a weekly basis or monthly basis

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 4+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 5+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience of Construction or Project Management Experience
2+ years of experience procuring Mechanical and/or Electrical equipment
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Hyperscale data center or large building construction experience in an owner or general contractor capacity
Knowledge of data center industry and experience managing a variety of project delivery.
Drive to deliver results in midst of ambiguity and matrixed org.
Ability to prepare and process purchase orders.
Effective communicator that can interact with diverse groups across organizational levels.
Ability to leverage and implement new processes.
Understanding of sourcing strategy and supply chain execution for long lead items across multiple categories.
Ability to integrate successfully into large-scale construction projects - large dollar contracts of over $50 Million
Sourcing and Category Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
