As a Technology Support III team member in Digital & Platform Services, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firmSupports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems to ensure operational stability and availabilityAssist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability toolsIdentify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholdersAnalyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructureRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology servicesKnowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment on premises or public cloudExposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniques, as Splunk, OpenSearch.Familiarity with processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworkExperience with Application Support / Production Management work experience in the Banking and Financial services industry.Experience on the TANDEM / HP NonStop platform (GUARDIAN / OSS, COBOL, C, C++,), Control M, and Prognosis & MOMI performance tool, and Oracle database queries.Hands-on Tandem/NonStop X Systems Using Tools and Languages TACL, COBOL85, Enscribe database, Enform, Tandem pathway, Tandem internal messaging system, FUP, Batchcom, SQLCI, Golden Gate Data Replication, HSM Host security module, ISO8583 messaging.Experience leveraging Geneos required with an analytical mindset to drive identification of patterns/trends which would predict problematic situations.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey technical information while lead large conference calls.Strong interpersonal skill that fosters collaboration while being able to leverage social skills to influence the conversation direction.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages or automation scriptingExposure to software project lifecycle is a plus.A plus to have experience leveraging other monitoring tools such as Netcool, Dynatrace with an analytical mindset to drive identification of patterns/trends which would predict problematic situations
