A general civil engineering firm in Roseville, CA is seeking a Civil Engineering Operations Director to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the drive and discipline to monitor, maintain, and enforce existing department policies and procedures, as well as develop new procedures to support contract project requirements. This role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and extensive knowledge of the civil engineering industry.

Salary Range:

$150,000 - $185,000 / year DOE

Civil Engineering Operations Director Requirements:

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)10+ years of experience in civil engineeringRelevant experience that was client-facingProven experience at a managerial or supervisory-level positionExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesOutstanding communication and people skillsIn-depth knowledge of industry rules and guidelines, diverse department functions and principlesWorking knowledge of data analysis and achieving performance/operation metricsExperience in all aspects of the civil design process related to commercial, public, institutional, and academic site developmentOpen minded, team-player, and enthusiastic approachQSD experience preferredAble to work 100% onsite at their office in Roseville, CACivil Engineering Operations Director Responsibilities:

Monitor, maintain, and enforce existing department policies and proceduresDevelop new procedures to support contract project requirementsMaintain a professional demeanor in time-critical or resource-challenged scenariosCommunicate designs to drafters/designers and produce documents suitable for constructionOversee other project engineers and project surveyorsAnswer questions for junior and senior PEsDevelop relationships with clients and managersCollaborate with various team members to ensure project successCivil Engineering Operations Director Benefits:
