LPA is seeking a passionate
Interior Project Designer
to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. Our Civic + Cultural studio has completed projects such as West Hollywood Park Aquatics & Rec Center, County of Orange Administration Building and Wimberley Library. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our in-house multidisciplinary teams including engineering, landscape and architecture. We work primarily on civic + cultural projects in Southern California.

What you will do:
Lead ideation with client and project teamsEngage all disciplines and stakeholders from the earliest stages to develop conceptual and schematic design of assigned projects using an informed processFacilitate presentation of design and other project documents to client for review and approval, with other project team membersPreside at design meetings, presentations and activities specific to assigned projectParticipate in firmwide design charrettesEngage all disciplines and stakeholders from the earliest stages to develop conceptual and schematic design of assigned projects using an informed processCultivate and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with clients, builders, governing authorities, stakeholders and team membersWork in unison with the Managing Director, Design Director and Project Manager to lead the project design and develop innovative design solutionsMentor design team and communicate with Project Designers, Project Leaders and Principals to ensure LPA's design standards and processes are fully understood and brought to fruition.Represent LPA in related industry functions and eventsWhat we will do:
Provide mentorship from Managing Directors and Design Directors as well as other in-house disciplines on all projectsProvide career growth opportunities including licensure incentives, professional development grants and our professional development processIn-house management and leadership training opportunitiesEducation opportunities including LPA+U and LPA Tech TalksProvide study grants for exploration - Catapult, LPA FoundationInterior Project Designer Requirements:
Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design10+ years of experience in all phases of architecture projectsCertified Interior Designer or Licensed ArchitectStrong knowledge of programming, code, and functional adjacenciesProficiency in RevitExperience with Rhino preferredLEED accreditation preferred

The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $150,000 and is eligible for an annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
