We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join our dynamic Infrastructure Finance Advisory Investment Banking team, offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to high-profile transactions and drive growth within a leading financial institution.
Job Summary
As an Analyst in Infrastructure Finance and Advisory, you'll be joining a team that originates, structures, and executes: (1) infrastructure advisories, primarily working to advise projects on their commercial framework and capital structure; and (2) infrastructure financings, which include loans, bonds, or structured debt and equity products. The team's New York-based members primarily focus on the Americas. We advise and finance greenfield and brownfield projects across a variety of sectors, including digital infrastructure, transportation, oil & gas, power, and clean energy. Team members have backgrounds in project finance, capital markets, structured finance, and commodities. We work closely with colleagues in debt capital markets, equity capital markets, industry coverage, derivatives structuring, tax equity, M&A, and other coverage and product groups. By leveraging expertise across products, sectors, and markets, the Infrastructure Finance and Advisory team integrates and customizes a comprehensive solution to help our clients meet their strategic, financial and risk management objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Work with senior bankers in originating, structuring. and executing infrastructure financings across the capital structure, including loans, bonds, and structured debt and equity productsWork with senior bankers in providing infrastructure advisory services, including negotiating the commercial framework, reviewing project contracts, and arranging the capital structureSupport senior bankers with the negotiation of transaction documentationDevelop complex greenfield and brownfield financial models and complete financial analyses for infrastructure projects across all sectorsWork on drafting marketing materials, including financing proposals, investor materials, rating agency presentations, and pitchbooksAssist in completing transaction due diligence with third-party advisorsWork with J.P. Morgan credit risk and legal teams to review transactions in connection with J.P. Morgan lending and underwriting processesConduct industry and company research to identify new opportunitiesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
1+ years of investment banking experience requiredBachelor's Degree requiredStrong quantitative and financial analysis skillsMust have significant experience in developing project finance modelsPrevious experience in creating marketing materials and presentationsMust be a self starter and proactive by taking initiative and anticipating deal team needsWillingness to work hard and be a team playerAn ability to juggle multiple deliverables for long-term transactionsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
