Job Summary:
In this pivotal role as the Director or Senior Director of FP&A, you will lead the development and execution of financial strategies, guiding the company through strategic planning, forecasting, and high-impact decision-making. You will oversee the company's financial planning process, provide executive leadership with valuable insights, and be instrumental in optimizing financial performance across our dynamic, high-growth business.
This role requires a proactive leader with deep financial acumen, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.What you will do:Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Forecasting:
Drive the development and refinement of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial models to ensure alignment with company goals. Provide actionable insights that help shape Strider's strategic direction. Experience with Mosaic Planning encouraged.Investment Analysis & Resource Allocation:
Lead comprehensive investment and cost-benefit analyses, presenting risk assessments and strategic recommendations on high-priority initiatives, including new product launches, market expansions, and M&A opportunities.Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis. Ensure timely and accurate communication of performance to the executive team and stakeholders, aligning on areas for improvement and growth.Collaborative Leadership:
Act as a key partner to business leaders across sales, marketing, product, and engineering, ensuring financial strategies and decisions enhance operational efficiency and drive profitable growth.Policy & Compliance Oversight:
Establish, review, and maintain financial policies and controls to support robust compliance, accurate reporting, and transparency across all financial practices.Team Development: Mentor
and develop a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure team members are equipped with the tools and support to succeed in a high-growth environment.Key
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role, preferably within technology, intelligence, or high-growth sectors.Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities, with a track record of delivering insights that shape strategic initiatives and influence executive decisions.Strong partnering and collaboration skills with the ability to influence business partners, foster alignment, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.Proven experience developing and implementing financial policies and internal controls in fast-paced, scaling organizations.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, demonstrating adaptability and prioritization skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for simplifying complex analysis for a broad audience.Why Join Us?Be Part of a Mission-Driven Team:
