General Summary:

Qualcomm, a global leader in semiconductor technology, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer with expertise in Data Science and Machine Learning domains. This critical role represents a strategic mix of transformation into GenAI, Machine Learning domains, and technical expertise of building Analytics and Metrics of several applications that are in use in Qualcomm. As a Qualcomm IT Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of delivering end-to-end analytics solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address their business needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data pipelines, ensuring seamless integrations.

Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions.

Leverage existing data warehouses, data lakes and ETL Tools to develop custom needs of Analytics and Metrics.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management.

Utilize advanced data science techniques (e.g., Machine learning based predictive analytics, forecasting)

Bring expertise with a broad range of data management technologies and platforms (e.g., SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud-based data solutions like AWS, GCP, Azure)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex engineering needs into actionable architectural solutions.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical executive-level stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).

OR

7+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• 4+ years of work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).

• 3+ years of work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Certifications or advanced training in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.

Experience with machine learning models and AI-driven analytics.

Certifications in Machine learning, Data Engineering.

Pay range

and Other Compensation & Benefits

:

$128,100.00 - $192,100.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
