has an opportunity for an
Associate Project Manager . Take responsibility for aspects of commercial installation projects in a building solutions environment. Work closely with subcontractors & cross-functional teams and manage smaller projects independently whilst assisting Project Manager(s) on large projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects i.e., follow project processes and provide direction to Project TeamComplete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfactionAssist with managing and tracking the overall financial performance of projects i.e., project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re-estimating costs of installation projectsManage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders upon scope creepCoordinate project materials; use shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any problemsBuild relationships with sub-contractors, identify issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any mattersRequired Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED2+ years' experience in the construction industry.2+ years' of experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls.Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 20lbs.Ability to be insured for driving company vehicles or personal vehicle on company behalfPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, associate degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or technical field.Experience with managing projectsPMP certificationExperience with building automation software, such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls.Working knowledge of TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.Ability to read and understand the scope of work and blueprintsKnowledge of project financial reporting
