ICF’s Disaster Management Division works with government agencies and communities to design and implement policies and programs to recover from disasters and promote increased resilience to disasters. Our functional expertise is in program management and operations, planning and preparedness, technical assistance and training, strategic communications and outreach, compliance and monitoring, and performance measurement and evaluation. Clients include states and localities administering the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funded disaster recovery programs.
This is a full-time, entry-level position that is expected to begin immediately. The work can be fully remote from any US location or hybrid from Oregon. At this time, we are unable to provide relocation assistance for this position.
Key Responsibilities include:
Support case manager or grant manager with specific assignments to support applicants during the application review or project implementation
Review applications for federal assistance for disaster-impacted applicants
Assist management with tasks associated with grants, reporting, financials, and other administrative tasks
Work as part of a team reviewing the accuracy of the data presented in written documents and systems
Project/task delivery and support
Support the design of end-to-end data visualizations/reporting solutions, from data extraction to the presentation, to address the clients’ needs
Interface with clients and other contractors to solicit information and communicate deadlines
Assist with special initiatives and research needs
May assist with development of standard operating procedures, checklists, and policies.
*Minimum Qualifications: *
A completed Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Emergency Management, Finance, Data Analytics/Visualization or related discipline
*Professional Skills: *
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking skills, analytical ability, integrity, and ethics
Ability to formulate creative, strategically oriented approaches, and successful solutions to projects
Ability to remain calm and maintain self-control during difficult circumstances and emergencies and to respond in a professional manner in all situations.
Ability to manage complex tasks, meet tight deadlines, and deliver quality work products

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$43,899.00 - $74,629.00
