Job Description
Position Overview
The primary objective of this position is to provide accounting leadership and ensure US Therapeutics Operations processes are compliant with internal procedures, GAAP, and SOX controls. This position is responsible for all consolidated reporting activities related to Balance Sheet, DSO / Working Capital / Cash Flow, Intangibles Impairment, and overall internal controls and policies across US Therapeutics. This position provides insights to US Therapeutics Leadership on risks and opportunities based on understanding of the results and partnering with US Therapeutics’ Business Units.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Internal Controls:
Prepares, consolidates, and presents monthly Balance Sheet and DSO package for review by US Therapeutics Finance senior leadership. Fully understands account balances and investigates variances to prior periods and benchmarks to provide clear and concise commentary.
Key contact and responsible for Intangible Assets and Impairment Testing on a quarterly and annual basis, year-end tax packages, legal entity reporting, etc.
Responsible for ensuring US Therapeutics accounting processes are GAAP, company policy compliant, and aligned with SOX and Internal control requirements
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Preparation/Consolidation of budgeting for Balance Sheet / Working Capital / Cash Flow, as well as DSO, for Plan, LRP, and quarterly LBEs in alignment with Global and Corporate requirements
Ensure financial planning and reporting deliverables are accurate, clear, and concise for Executive level review and approval, for above mentioned planning areas
Strategic Business Partnership:
Be a strategic partner to US Therapeutics and provide clear and concise output deliverables that are Executive management ready
Work closely with FSS, Global and Corporate teams to develop and achieve optimal Finance Operating Model, Working Capital improvements, and drive compliance/audit readiness, monitoring and training
Support Finance System Planning and Reporting
Decision Support / Special Projects -- Provide analyses for ad hoc or other business presentations that lend insight into key business drivers enabling senior management to adapt more appropriate tactics / strategy to meet both short- and long-term objectives
People Leadership and Development:
Responsible for delegating and coaching staff to ensure an optimal level of support for each direct report. Additionally, will provide coaching and career development opportunities to sustain a high performing staff.
Effectively lead and develop team up to 2 direct reports.
Reports To:
Financial Reporting Director, US Therapeutics
Effectively manage matrix relationships with US/Global/Corporate Finance, FSS, Internal/External Audit, US Therapeutics Leadership
Qualifications
Required:
6-10 years progressive accounting or finance experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong understanding of CFMs, SOX controls and other Financial policies
Audit experience and knowledge of US statutory and management reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in leading and motivating a team in a dynamic business environment to successfully achieve results / deliverables
Ability to solve business problems through the proactive identification of issues and subsequent collection, analysis, and interpretation of related data
Experience supporting senior operating management
Experience working independently as well as team environments and integrating activities across multiple functions / divisions
Preferred:
CPA and / or MBA in Accounting or Finance
Solid understanding of various accounting systems such HFM, SAP, BPC, Power BI, and Workiva/W-Desk

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
