GPD is looking to make Louisville, KY our next hub of opportunity in the Roadway/Transportation industry and is excited to hire a Project Manager that embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and passion for championing meaningful community change that GPD is founded on. This Project Manager will grow GPD's Roadway/Transportation presence in Louisville while leading efforts with our clients and Roadway/Transportation projects as an experienced technical expert.

Role Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Kentucky professional engineering registration (PE).10+ years' experience in the roadway/transportation industry.Experience / relationships in Louisville, KY related to the Transportation Industry (i.e., KYTC, City of Louisville DPW, City of Louisville DOMI).Well versed in KYTC plan delivery, specifications, and contract management.Experience/Relationships with MPO's (i.e. City of Louisville, the City of Lexington and/or other local agencies a plus).Extensive experience developing and overseeing project scope, schedule, and fees for new projects and additional scope/services requested by clients that yield successful projects for clients and the Company.Experience mentoring and empowering engineers newer in their career.Proficient understanding of AutoCAD and Microstation (Openroads).Thrives in a collaborative project environment and enjoys all forms of communication while working with clients and team members (virtual, in-person, phone).Enjoys taking on a leadership role not only as a technical expert in our field but as a servant leader in the community and within the company.Key Responsibilities:

Project Management in our Roadway/Transportation group provides the opportunity to interact with multiple stakeholders and in a wide variety of services that encompass our discipline:

this includes complete A&E design, structural analysis, survey, environmental assessment, zoning, permitting, site walks, and field services.Technical oversight:

managing the design and quality review process, analyzing, and correlating scientific and engineering data to recognize discrepancies in results and identifying the possible solutions and risk associated with them.Client Engagement and Management offers a chance for the Project Manager to develop and build programs and client relationships to grow this team:

this includes understanding clients' needs and how they translate into specific scope and reporting systems. This person will not only meet revenue goals and support proposal development but actively seek out opportunities to exceed expectations.Strategic Planning includes working with the team to develop and execute strategic actions aligned with both Roadway/Transportation and GPD Group goals:
