What You Will Do
JOB SUMMARY
Integrate company objectives, strategies to drive results. Supervise Division Sales Managers, Regional Account Managers, role model persuasive selling skills, optimal coverage designs that enable success for sales individuals. Leverages industry knowledge, relationships to drive revenue of company products/services with focus on current, new account opportunities. Work closely with internal/external sales, provide daily oversite,assure proper planning, resources, alliances for successful promotion of company product
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Evaluate, consistently develop individual team members to improve skills, capabilities, overall performance.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive, energetic environment in the region, supervising the work of Division Sales Managers, Regional Account Managers.
Function as a coach to motivate, empower the team to deliver executional excellence.
Role model persuasive selling skills and optimal coverage designs that enable success for Sales Representatives.
Make personnel recommendations, with input from human resources partners, for Division Sales Managers, Regional Account Managers.
Engage with company leadership to share key customer requirements, identify opportunities for leverage within accounts
Support Regional Account Managers with implementing Joint Business Planning processes with identified top Region customers
Partner with Top Customers in Region to drive alignment between the Company and customer objectives
Work with Division Sales Managers to continually optimize retail store coverage designs to maximize retail activity time in achieving strategic objectives
Measure, direct team resources to maximize time allocation on a store-by-store basis to meet productivity objectives
Identify opportunities within region, provide input on potential areas for improved results
Analyze region for opportunities to share insights, suggestions, ideas, solutions that are shareable to maximize selling, executional impact
Measure, enforce requirements of retail partnership agreements to ensure they are maintained by retail stores
Maximize effectiveness of MerchandisingFixtures/Displays/POSto present a competitive merchandising advantage at retail
Drive adoption of formal Customer Joint Business Plans (JBP’s) at top accounts across region
Coach, develop Division Sales Managers/Regional Account Managers to improve selling skills, customer partnership, people management capabilities
Support team in development of customized selling plans with retailers, conceptual selling in stores
Collaborate with division resources to identify sales opportunities that can be acted upon to drive sales performance
Implement area go-to-market approach for the Region, provide on-going input on Area-wide improvements
Customize sales strategies, plans, key initiatives across region down to Account and Sales Representative level
Accountable for delivering assigned Sales Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), key initiative objectives for region customers, retail stores
Analyze the regional landscape, customers, develop win/win solutions for both team and customers
Seek out support to improve optimum performance of the region
Help team gain, maintain acceptance by customers to use the “ITG Portal” as primary method for reimbursement, tracking
Facilitate best practice approaches across region
Solicit, report customer, competitive insights to identify critical sales opportunities, provide solutions to HQ & Area VP
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
5+ years related sales experience to include, but not limited to:
Experience with driving and developing business such as a regional sales manager, strategic account manager or sales manager or other sales related titles.
Experience managing and leading channel partners and/or independent sales reps.
Experience with driving sales performance in a team environment.
Experience in business-to-business account selling.
3+ years directsupervision/managerialexperience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license issued from state of residence.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Knowledge of:
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.
Skilled in:
Verbal and written communication
Attention to detail
Problem/situation analysis
Effective time and task management
Multitasking capabilities
Flexibility and adaptability
Delivering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while driving best practices across sales plans, optimal coverage, and quarterly and monthly measurements and reporting.

Communicate to a broad and diverse audience.
Maintain effective working relationships.
Demonstrate critical thinking.
Work with diverse populations and varying education levels.
Receive and communicate information orally and in writing.
Prioritize assignments, workload, and manage time accordingly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field of study.
Work Environment and Physical Demand
Employee must live within the boundary of the assignment or be willing to relocate.
Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (10-50 lbs.).
Able to bend, crouch, stretch, climb, or reach in retail environments.
Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.
Travel required based on assignment needs.
Occasional exposure to noise, dust, or weather.
Operates in a retail and wholesale environment.
Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
