Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, voluntary benefits: life, long and short-term disability, and 401K with match 11 designated holidays and paid time off increasing with years of service This position reports to the Production Supervisor Responsibilities/Job Description: Prepare, pour, weigh (metric and non-metric), blend, and determine mixing sequences of food products Read and interpret recipe formulas ensuring all ingredients have been compiled Maintain the plant/facility to GMP standards/requirements by sweeping, mopping, cleaning and/or sanitizing floors, production equipment and parts, utensils, work surfaces and countertops, walls, racking, desktops, scales, etc. Wear PPE as required and/or instructed Operate designated equipment levers and/or controls to perform manufacturing operations per SOP/Instructions Participate in on-the-job training as required, including cross-training in other departments to meet business needs Work independently and in a team setting Ability to record, calculate and verify data while also ensuring accurate, clear, and complete documentation for GMP records Read and interpret gauges, vacuum, pressure, and temperature levels Collect testing, packaging, and other production data for each food batch or operation Inspecting plant equipment for leaks, blockages, proper function, and/or other malfunctions Visually inspect food for consistency in texture, clarity, and bouquet Operate heavy equipment such as a forklift, order picker, floor cleaners, etc. Work safely, adhering to all company and OSHA safety regulations, policies, and/or expectations Perform duties and/or tasks as directed by your supervisor and/or Management and comply with daily production schedule Comply with all written policies including but not limited to; all company policies, work instructions, SOPs, and GMP requirements Flexibility to perform other duties as needed and assigned including but not limited to, working overtime, working weekends, and flexing work schedules up or down to meet business needs Ability to Live PACK values Other duties as assigned Requirements/Desired Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, frequently reach with hands and arms, twist, bend frequently, stoop, squat, lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds Prior food manufacturing and / or warehouse experience strongly desired The ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instruction in English
