Signature Academics & Signature One-to-One School Great Teaching Opportunities, Grades 6-12 & College Levels Wellington, FL, Ocala/Morriston, FL, and Remote/Online Signature Academics and Signature One-to-One School ( www.signatureacademics.com ) are seeking exceptional educators, especially in upper-level humanities, math, sciences, and French, in Wellington, Florida and Morriston/Ocala, Florida for part-time teaching and tutoring positions. Students are primarily in high school, and all teaching is one-to-one. School year 2024-2025 in-person and remote teaching opportunities may include math through calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Macro/Micro, all high school sciences (bio, chem, physics, anatomy) through AP, all humanities through AP, and French, as well as standardized test prep and college counseling for students in grades 6 through 12 and college. Often there are in-person and remote opportunities to teach financial and cost accounting, finance, operations, marketing, computer science, and use of various software programs like Excel and QuickBooks. Many students are seasonal equestrians who spend January, February, March, and sometimes April competing at the Winter Equestrian Festival ( www.equestriansport.com ) and/or HITS Ocala ( www.hitsshows.com ) and World Equestrian Center Ocala (https://worldequestriancenter.com/ocala-fl/). They are typically strong students who are taking honors and AP-level courses at top schools, including Signature One-to-One School, our own accredited one-to-one high school. Signature educators work flexible schedules as independent contractors. Top teachers can work up to 20 hours and more per week, especially during the weeks of the horse shows in Florida. Exceptional tutors/teachers often gain additional teaching time with these student-athletes via Zoom as they train, travel, and compete during the rest of the year. These student-athletes need the support of subject-expert tutors so they can maintain high levels of achievement in the face of exhausting competition schedules. In addition to students enrolled in Signature One-to-One School, students attend a range of full-time schools, from highly selective, competitive, college prep day and boarding schools, to rigorous distance learning programs, to some of the best public schools in North America.
