Stolfus & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Project Manager with approximately 8-15 years of Traffic and/or Roadway Engineering and Planning experience for our Greenwood Village, CO office. Successful candidates will play a key role in leading, designing, modeling, and managing transportation projects throughout Colorado. Leads and manages projects that include the following: Evaluation of traffic operations of transportation networks including roadway segments, traffic signals, roundabouts, interchanges, and multimodal facilities. 2D and 3D geometric design of interstate highways, interchanges, streets, roundabouts, sidewalks, bike lanes, and multimodal facilities. Written reports for a wide variety of transportation projects. A variety of technical studies including corridor studies, intersection control evaluations, traffic signal timing plans, freeway junction analyses, safety assessments, and traffic impact studies. These studies require development of traffic forecasts, alternatives evaluations through deterministic or microsimulation methods, and providing written analysis of the process. Other Requirements Position requires professional judgment on details of work and in application of standard engineering theories, principles, techniques, procedures, and criteria in executing a series of tasks with some variability. Position requires ability to exercise initiative, judgement, and knowledge as required in areas of responsibility. Directly and indirectly supervises up to 20 employees Serves as a day-to-day resource and interface for clients on projects. Develops project budgets and is responsible for managing project resources and level of effort. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Supports proposal efforts including lead generation, capture, and support. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an A.B.E.T. Accredited school. Eight years of experience in Traffic and/or Roadway Engineering. Colorado PE License. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to summarize technical information into accessible forms. Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills A desire to grow personally and professionally while working in a team environment to make Colorado’s transportation system safer and improve quality of life for users while meeting our client’s needs. This position requires the ability to sit/stand for extended periods at a computer workstation. Occasional travel to client facilities and project sites require ability to climb ladders, inspect and be physically mobile in and around client construction sites. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. Base pay range for 8-15 years experience $110,000/year to $155,000/year
