The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-stakes, complex litigation cases within the healthcare sector. You will be joining a team of industry-leading attorneys who are committed to delivering top-tier legal services. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of challenging cases, including matters involving professional liability, nursing homes, sexual abuse, commercial, human trafficking, mass torts, and class action. Responsibilities: Represent clients in a wide range of healthcare litigation matters including professional liability, nursing homes, sexual abuse, commercial, human trafficking, mass torts, and class action. Develop and execute litigation strategies from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Conduct legal research and analysis on various healthcare regulations, laws, and policies. Engage in settlement negotiations and mediations. Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide practical legal advice tailored to their unique needs. Collaborate with a team of attorneys to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services. Regularly attend court proceedings, depositions, and arbitrations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws and regulations in the healthcare industry.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Must be a member in good standing with the state bar. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare litigation. Proven track record in handling cases involving professional liability, nursing homes, sexual abuse, commercial, human trafficking, mass torts, and class action. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. High degree of professional ethics and integrity. Exceptional negotiation skills and courtroom presence. Experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
