OVERVIEW
iTech AG seeks an experienced and dynamic professional to lead federal business development and capture management efforts. We are looking for an energetic self-starter who can successfully promote our offerings and solutions, win competitive pursuits, and position iTech AG as a leader in the federal IT consulting space. This position is based in the DC Metro area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of winning and delivering IT and strategic consulting services to federal agencies and will be responsible for driving growth and achieving company goals through the below-defined duties.
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding iTech AG's Integration Services Portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, managing capture processes for federal and commercial bids, and driving the company's strategic growth. This role requires a blend of business development acumen, capture management expertise, and strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leverage existing relationships and identify new clients to expand iTech AG's PortfolioDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve corporate growth objectives.Research industry trends and identify new opportunities for business expansion.Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote iTech AG's services and solutions.Monitor opportunities on federal portals (GWACS such as GSA MAS, OASIS, HCATS, eFAST, SEAPORT-NXG, STARS III, etc.) for new opportunities, market research updates, amendments, or announcements.Lead capture activities for complex and technical bids, including understanding client requirements, developing technical solutions, and building cost-competitive industry teams.Manage the capture process from opportunity identification to proposal submission and contract award.Conduct strategic planning, market assessments, competitive analysis, and price-to-win analyses to strengthen the firm's competitive position.Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and ensure alignment with corporate goals.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical, financial, and legal departments, to develop comprehensive proposals.Communicate effectively with senior management to report on progress, challenges, and strategic plans.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience tracking or building a pipeline for Federal RFPs, RFQs, etc.3+ years of experience in the direct management of complex solutions and capture efforts in integration services sales in the Federal market space.Proven track record of winning federal Prime Full & Open contracts and delivering IT and strategic consulting services to Federal agencies.Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process and customer needs for the market.Knowledge of 8a Market space.Extensive network of contacts within the federal market/integration services space.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite-level executives and a variety of stakeholders.Strong business and technical acumen with the ability to think strategically and critically.Ability to manage and lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams without direct oversight.Demonstrated experience in coordinating and collaborating effectively to achieve desired outcomes.Ability to manage a quota and meet leadership expectations.EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
BS/BA in Systems, Communications, or a related field is preferred.PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using Agile to implement projects within a federal government environmentMS/MA or demonstrated experience in Program Management, InformationCLEARANCE
Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued clearance if required.Pursuant to government contracts, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
